I haven’t read the article, yet; however, I’m put in mind of Lenin’s purging all references to Trotsky from the historical records and textbooks in Russia.

How efficient the purgers have been in 20th century culture.

I do believe, however, that not even the censors charged to the task in the Soviet Union were as successful as Ivy League lawyers in obliterating the name of God from every area of public discourse.

Now it appears that they must turn their sights to the historical records.

This whole purpose driven seeker sensitive phenomenon is like spiritual supermodels, or dare I say, spiritual pornography. It’s that unattainable standard that no one can humanly measure up to because it’s been airbrushed and augmented in completely unnatural (unbiblical) ways. And yet evangelicalism in general keeps staring at, mesmerized, it like moths to the flame.

She must have been reading the Message version written by a guy who DOES have a degree in the original languages and should know better. Peterson reduces homosexuality down to “those that use and abuse sex.” Well, Jennifer Knapp knows SHE isn’t just *using* and *abusing* sex, of course!

People who talk about ‘my truth’ vs ‘your truth’ give ‘their truth’ more weight than just an opinion.
